The Prime Minister of UK David Cameron visited the Queen to inform her that Parliament has been dissolved.
Cameron claimed that he has “put Britain back on her feet” during his 5 years. He also said voters face a “stark choice” between him and Ed Miliband.
Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg also paid a visit to the queen in his role as President of the Privy Council. He predicted that the next government will also be a coalition of parties and no single political party will be able to gain a clean majority in the election.
He said : “It is my view that the era of single-party government is now over in British politics.”
UK will vote for the next government after 38 days.
