Turkey has arrested nine British nationals who were trying to enter Syria illegally, Turkish armed forces have said.
The British nationals included three men, two women and four children. The authorities taken them into custody near Hatay region – the Turkish border with Syria.
UK Foreign Office said it was investigating the matter.
A report says that so far more than 600 British nationals have gone to Syria to fight alongside the ISIS terrorists since the ISIS started its aggression in Syria. Almost half of them have already returned to the UK.
