Yemen’s fugitive president Mansur Hadi has asked the Saudi-led coalition to launch ground attack alongside air bombardment to inflict further havoc to the poor Yemeni citizens.
Hadi fled to Saudi Arabia last week.
Saudi has already gathered a large number of troops on the Saudi-Yemen border in preparation of an imminent ground attack.
Saudi-led coalition is also supported by Pakistan, which has previously deployed troops to Saudi Arabia on Saudi king’s request, also said that it is sending troops to support Saudi Arabia in the context of the current Yemeni conflict, Reuters reported.
However, Pakistan is facing an immense pressure from political parties and civil society to not interfere in “others internal matters”.
So far, Saudi airstrikes have claimed hundreds of civilian lives, mostly women and children.
